So haben es Eichhörnchen gemütlich und sicher. Es hat 3 Eintrittslöcher von 7 cm Durchmesser, damit Eichhörnchen leicht ein- und aussteigen können. Es ist wichtig, dass sich das Eichhörnchenhaus etwa 3 oder 4 Meter über dem Boden und neben einem Ast befindet, damit ein Eichhörnchen im Gefahrenfall leicht entkommen kann.
